NOWN은 사용자의 개인정보와 위치 기반 정보를 중요하게 생각합니다. 본 방침은 NOWN 앱에서 수집·이용·보관되는 개인정보의 종류와 처리 방식을 설명합니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

NOWN은 서비스 제공을 위해 다음 정보를 수집하거나 처리할 수 있습니다.

  • 계정 정보: 이메일 주소, UID, 닉네임, 프로필 이미지
  • 사용자 생성 콘텐츠: 게시물 사진, 썸네일, 짧은 코멘트, 태그, 댓글, 답글, 반응 정보
  • 위치 정보: 게시물 작성 시점의 위치, 도시, 지역, 장소명, 지도 표시용 좌표
  • 서비스 활동 정보: 조회수, 좋아요, 공감, 팔로우, 차단, 신고, 알림 관련 정보
  • 기기 및 앱 정보: 앱 버전, 오류 로그, 보안 및 운영에 필요한 기술 정보
  • 푸시 알림 정보: 알림 발송을 위한 기기 토큰 또는 알림 설정 정보

2. 개인정보 이용 목적

  • 실시간 장소 정보 공유 및 지도 기반 콘텐츠 표시
  • 게시물, 댓글, 답글, 반응, 알림 기능 제공
  • 사용자 프로필, 팔로우, 차단, 신고 기능 운영
  • 부정 이용 방지, 보안, 오류 분석 및 서비스 안정화

3. 위치 정보 처리

NOWN은 장소 기반 서비스를 제공하기 위해 게시물 작성 시 위치 정보를 사용할 수 있습니다. 위치 정보는 주변 NOWN 표시, 지도 표시, 지역별 핫스팟 집계, 장소 상세 기록 제공에 사용됩니다.

4. 사진 및 콘텐츠 보관

NOWN의 게시물은 시간 기반 콘텐츠입니다. 게시물은 일정 시간이 지나면 만료될 수 있으며, 앱 화면에서는 현재 활성 NOWN과 지난 NOWN 기록이 구분되어 표시될 수 있습니다.

5. 계정 및 게시물 삭제

사용자는 앱 내 설정 또는 이메일을 통해 계정 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 게시물, 댓글, 답글 등 사용자 생성 콘텐츠는 서비스 안정성, 신고 처리, 대화 맥락 보존을 위해 삭제, 비식별화 또는 숨김 처리될 수 있습니다.

6. 제3자 제공 및 외부 서비스

NOWN은 법령에 근거한 요청이 있는 경우를 제외하고 개인정보를 임의로 제3자에게 판매하지 않습니다. 서비스 운영을 위해 Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Maps, Google Translation API 등 외부 서비스를 사용할 수 있습니다.

7. 보관 기간

개인정보는 서비스 제공 기간 동안 보관되며, 계정 삭제 또는 처리 목적 달성 시 삭제 또는 비식별화됩니다. 단, 법적 의무, 분쟁 대응, 보안, 신고 및 제재 기록 등 필요한 경우 일부 정보는 일정 기간 보관될 수 있습니다.

NOWN values user privacy and location-related information. This policy explains what personal information may be collected, used, stored, deleted, or anonymized when using the NOWN app.

1. Information We Collect

NOWN may collect or process the following information to provide the service.

  • Account information: email address, UID, nickname, and profile image
  • User-generated content: post photos, thumbnails, short comments, tags, comments, replies, and reactions
  • Location information: location at the time of posting, city, area, place name, and map coordinates
  • Service activity information: views, likes, empathy reactions, follows, blocks, reports, and notification-related information
  • Device and app information: app version, error logs, and technical information needed for security and operation
  • Push notification information: device tokens or notification settings used to send notifications

2. Purpose of Use

  • To provide real-time place sharing and map-based content
  • To provide posts, comments, replies, reactions, and notifications
  • To operate profiles, follows, blocks, and reporting features
  • To prevent abuse, protect security, analyze errors, and stabilize the service
  • To respond to support inquiries and comply with legal obligations

3. Location Information

NOWN may use location information when a user creates a post in order to provide location-based services. This information is used to show nearby NOWN posts, display maps, aggregate local hot spots, and provide place detail records.

4. Photos and Content Retention

NOWN posts are time-based content. Posts may expire after a certain period, and the app may distinguish between active NOWN posts and past NOWN records.

5. Account and Post Deletion

Users may request account deletion through the app settings or by email. User-generated content such as posts, comments, and replies may be deleted, anonymized, or hidden for service stability, report handling, and preservation of conversation context.

6. Third-Party Services

NOWN does not sell personal information. However, the service may use external services such as Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Maps, and Google Translation API to operate the app.

7. Retention Period

Personal information is retained while the service is provided and may be deleted or anonymized when the account is deleted or the purpose of processing is fulfilled. Some information may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, dispute handling, security, reports, or enforcement records.

3. 位置情報の取扱い

NOWNは、場所ベースのサービスを提供するため、投稿作成時に位置情報を使用する場合があります。位置情報は、周辺のNOWN表示、地図表示、地域別ホットスポット集計、スポット詳細記録の提供に使用されます。

4. 写真およびコンテンツの保存

NOWNの投稿は時間ベースのコンテンツです。投稿は一定時間後に期限切れになる場合があり、アプリ内では現在有効なNOWNと過去のNOWN記録が区別して表示される場合があります。

5. アカウントおよび投稿の削除

ユーザーは、アプリ内設定またはメールによりアカウント削除を申請できます。投稿、コメント、返信などのユーザー生成コンテンツは、サービスの安定性、通報処理、会話の文脈保持のため、削除、匿名化、または非表示処理される場合があります。

6. 第三者提供および外部サービス

NOWNは、法令に基づく要請がある場合を除き、個人情報を販売しません。ただし、サービス運営のためにFirebase、Google Sign-In、Google Maps、Google Translation APIなどの外部サービスを使用する場合があります。

7. 保存期間

個人情報はサービス提供期間中保存され、アカウント削除または処理目的の達成時に削除または匿名化されます。ただし、法的義務、紛争対応、セキュリティ、通報および制裁記録など、必要な場合は一部情報を一定期間保存することがあります。
