NOWN은 이용자의 개인정보와 위치 기반 정보를 중요하게 생각합니다. 본 방침은 NOWN 앱과 관련 서비스에서 처리되는 개인정보의 항목, 목적, 보관, 삭제 및 이용자 권리를 설명합니다.

1. 처리하는 개인정보 항목

NOWN은 실제 제공 기능과 이용 상태에 따라 다음 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.

계정 및 로그인 정보: Firebase Authentication UID, Google 계정 식별 정보, 이메일, 로그인 상태, 게스트 이용 식별자
프로필 정보: 닉네임, 프로필 사진, 소개, 팔로우 및 차단 관련 정보
게시 및 커뮤니티 정보: 게시물 사진, 썸네일, 짧은 코멘트, 태그, 댓글, 답글, Q&A, 반응, 조회, 신고, 문의 내용
위치 및 장소 정보: 위치 좌표, 도시, 지역, 장소명, 장소 식별자, 게시 위치, 선택 위치, 주변 후보 조회에 필요한 위치 정보
알림 정보: FCM 토큰, 알림 수신 설정, 알림 발송과 확인에 필요한 정보
구매 정보: Google Play Billing 구매 상태, 상품 식별자, 구매 복원, entitlement 적용 상태
광고 관련 정보: Google AdMob을 통한 광고 표시와 관련해 처리될 수 있는 기기 또는 광고 관련 정보
앱 이용 및 기기 정보: Firebase Analytics 이벤트, Crashlytics 오류 로그, 앱 버전, 기기 및 OS 정보, 언어, 서비스 이용 기록
신고 및 지원 정보: 신고 대상, 신고 사유, 문의 내용, 첨부 이미지, 처리 이력
챌린지 상품 정보: 추첨 참여 동의, 당첨 확인, 당첨자가 직접 제출한 쿠폰 수령 연락처 또는 ID, 발송 및 만료 처리 이력

2. 개인정보 처리 목적

NOWN은 다음 목적을 위해 개인정보를 처리합니다.

회원 식별, 로그인, 게스트 이용, 계정 관리
게시물 작성, 이미지 저장, NOW 피드, 지도, 장소 상세, 지난 NOWN 표시
댓글, 답글, Q&A, 반응, 팔로우, 차단, 신고, 알림 기능 제공
위치 기반 주변 NOWN 표시, 장소 상태 제공, 주변 NOWN 스마트 알림 및 POST 제안 제공
구매 상품 적용, 광고 표시 또는 광고 제거, 구매 복원 및 결제 관련 문의 대응
번역 기능 제공, 서비스 품질 개선, 오류 분석, 보안, 부정 이용 방지, 분쟁 대응
법령 준수 및 이용자 문의 처리
NOWN 챌린지 운영, 공정한 추첨, 당첨 안내 및 동의받은 상품 전달

3. 주변 NOWN 스마트 알림과 위치 정보

주변 NOWN 스마트 알림은 기본값이 OFF이며, 이용자가 직접 켠 경우에만 동작합니다.

이 기능은 주변의 최신 NOWN 안내와 최신 정보가 없는 장소에서의 POST 제안을 위해 위치 권한, Android 기기 기반 geofencing, 로컬 알림을 사용할 수 있습니다. 앱을 사용하지 않거나 닫은 상태에서도 위치 권한이 필요할 수 있습니다.

주변 NOWN 스마트 알림은 연속적인 이동 경로를 서버에 저장하기 위한 기능이 아닙니다. 이용자는 앱 또는 기기 설정에서 언제든 기능과 위치 권한을 해제할 수 있으며, 기능을 끄거나 권한을 거부해도 일반 NOWN 기능은 이용할 수 있습니다.

주변 후보 조회 과정에서는 현재 위치 주변의 게시물을 확인하기 위해 Firestore 문서 조회가 발생할 수 있습니다. 게시물 작성 시에는 게시 위치 좌표와 장소 정보가 저장될 수 있습니다.

4. 사진, 게시물 및 콘텐츠 보관

게시물은 일정 시간 후 일반 피드나 지도에서 비노출될 수 있습니다. 유효기간이 종료된 게시물은 원본 이미지가 삭제되고, 작성자의 기록 확인과 서비스 운영을 위해 축소된 썸네일 및 필요한 메타데이터만 보관될 수 있습니다.

신고, 차단, 법령 위반, 운영 정책 위반이 확인된 게시물은 숨김, 삭제 또는 제한될 수 있습니다.

5. 보유 및 이용 기간

개인정보는 수집 및 이용 목적 달성 후 지체 없이 파기합니다. 다만 법령상 보관 의무, 부정 이용 방지, 신고 처리, 구매 내역 확인, 분쟁 대응, 서비스 운영상 필요한 경우 필요한 범위에서 일정 기간 보관될 수 있습니다.

챌린지 상품 수령 정보는 당첨자가 직접 동의하여 제출한 경우에만 처리하며, 상품 전달과 이의 처리에 필요한 기간이 끝나면 지체 없이 삭제합니다.

회원 탈퇴 또는 계정 삭제 요청 후에도 법령 준수, 결제 및 환불 대응, 부정 이용 방지, 신고 및 분쟁 대응에 필요한 일부 기록은 제한적으로 보관될 수 있습니다.

6. 계정 삭제와 데이터 삭제 또는 비식별화

이용자는 앱의 MY 탭 설정 메뉴에서 계정 삭제를 진행하거나 이메일로 요청할 수 있습니다. 앱 내 계정 삭제는 Firebase Auth 계정 삭제와 로그아웃을 수행합니다.

계정 삭제 시 프로필, 계정 정보, 알림 토큰, 게시물, 댓글, 답글, Q&A, 신고 및 지원 기록은 서비스 안정성, 신고 처리, 대화 맥락 보존, 법령 준수 범위에 따라 삭제, 숨김 또는 비식별화될 수 있습니다. Storage에 저장된 원본 이미지와 썸네일은 게시물 만료 또는 운영 처리 과정에서 삭제될 수 있습니다.

7. 제3자 제공

NOWN은 이용자의 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 다만 법령에 따른 요청이 있거나 이용자가 동의한 경우 관련 기관 또는 제3자에게 필요한 범위의 정보가 제공될 수 있습니다.

9. 국외 이전

Firebase, Google, Google Maps 및 Geocoding, AdMob, Google Play Billing, Google Cloud Translation API 등 해외 사업자가 제공하는 인프라를 이용하는 과정에서 개인정보가 국외 서버에 저장 또는 처리될 수 있습니다. 이전되는 항목과 보유 기간은 각 서비스 제공자의 정책과 NOWN의 서비스 제공 목적에 따릅니다.

10. 이용자 권리

이용자는 개인정보 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 정지, 동의 철회, 계정 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 다만 법령상 의무, 서비스 운영, 신고 처리, 구매 및 분쟁 대응에 필요한 정보는 요청이 제한되거나 일정 기간 보관될 수 있습니다.

11. 만 14세 미만 아동

NOWN은 법정대리인의 동의 없는 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다. 관련 사실을 확인한 경우 필요한 조치를 취합니다.

12. 보안 및 파기

NOWN은 개인정보 보호를 위해 합리적인 기술적·관리적 보호 조치를 적용합니다. 보관 목적 달성, 보관 기간 만료 또는 이용자의 삭제 요청 등 파기 사유가 발생한 경우 복구가 어렵도록 삭제하거나 별도 보관이 필요한 정보는 접근이 제한된 형태로 관리합니다.

본 방침이 변경되는 경우 앱 내 공지, 웹 페이지 또는 적절한 방법으로 안내합니다.

NOWN values user privacy and location-related information. This Policy explains what information may be processed in the NOWN app and related services, why it is processed, how it may be retained or deleted, and what rights users have.

1. Information we process

Depending on the features used and the user's status, NOWN may process the following information.

Account and login information: Firebase Authentication UID, Google account identifiers, email address, login status, and guest identifiers
Profile information: nickname, profile photo, bio, follow information, and block information
Posting and community information: post photos, thumbnails, short comments, tags, comments, replies, Q&A, reactions, views, reports, and support inquiries
Location and place information: location coordinates, city, area, place name, place identifiers, posting location, selected location, and location information needed for nearby candidate queries
Notification information: FCM token, notification settings, and information needed to send and confirm notifications
Purchase information: Google Play Billing purchase status, product identifiers, purchase restoration, and entitlement status
Advertising-related information: device or advertising-related information that may be processed through Google AdMob
App usage and device information: Firebase Analytics events, Crashlytics error logs, app version, device and OS information, language, and service usage records
Report and support information: reported target, report reason, inquiry contents, attached images, and handling records
Challenge prize information: draw-entry consent, winner confirmation, voluntarily submitted coupon delivery contact or recipient ID, and delivery or expiry history

2. Purposes of processing

NOWN processes personal information for the following purposes.

User identification, login, guest use, and account management
Post creation, image storage, NOW feed, map, place details, and past NOWN display
Comments, replies, Q&A, reactions, follows, blocks, reports, and notifications
Location-based nearby NOWN display, place status, nearby NOWN smart alerts, and POST suggestions
Applying purchases, displaying or removing ads, purchase restoration, and purchase support
Translation features, service quality improvement, error analysis, security, abuse prevention, and dispute handling
Compliance with law and user support
Operating NOWN Challenges, conducting fair draws, notifying winners, and delivering prizes with consent

3. Nearby NOWN smart alerts and location information

Nearby NOWN smart alerts are OFF by default and operate only when the user turns them on.

This feature may use location permission, Android device-based geofencing, and local notifications to notify users about fresh nearby NOWNs and to suggest posting at places where fresh information is not available. Location permission may be needed even when the app is not in use or is closed.

Nearby NOWN smart alerts are not intended to store continuous movement history on the server. Users may turn off the feature or location permission at any time in the app or device settings, and ordinary NOWN features remain available even if the feature is turned off or permission is denied.

During nearby candidate queries, Firestore documents may be read to check posts around the current location. When a user creates a post, the posting coordinates and place information may be stored.

4. Photos, posts, and content retention

Posts may stop appearing in the general feed or map after a period of time. When a post expires, the original image may be deleted while a reduced thumbnail and necessary metadata may be retained for user records and service operation.

Posts confirmed to be reported, blocked, unlawful, or policy-violating may be hidden, deleted, or restricted.

5. Retention period

Personal information is deleted without undue delay after the purpose of collection and use is achieved. However, some information may be retained for the period necessary to comply with law, prevent abuse, handle reports, confirm purchase records, respond to disputes, or operate the service.

Challenge recipient details are processed only when a winner submits them with consent and are deleted without undue delay after the period needed for delivery and dispute handling ends.

After account deletion, some records may be retained in a limited form when necessary for legal compliance, payment and refund handling, abuse prevention, report handling, or dispute response.

6. Account deletion and data deletion or anonymization

Users may delete their account in the MY tab settings menu or request deletion by email. In-app account deletion deletes the Firebase Auth account and signs the user out.

When an account is deleted, profile data, account information, notification tokens, posts, comments, replies, Q&A, reports, and support records may be deleted, hidden, or anonymized depending on service stability, report handling, conversation context, and legal requirements. Original images and thumbnails stored in Firebase Storage may be deleted during post expiration or operational handling.

7. Third-party disclosure

NOWN does not sell personal information. Information may be provided to relevant authorities or third parties only when required by law or with the user's consent, and only to the necessary extent.

8. Processors and external services

NOWN may use the following external services to provide the service.

Firebase Authentication: login and account identification
Cloud Firestore: storage of posts, comments, profiles, settings, reports, and service data
Firebase Storage: storage of photos and thumbnails
Cloud Functions for Firebase: server functions for notifications, reports, translation, and operations
Firebase Cloud Messaging: push notification tokens and notification delivery
Firebase Analytics: app usage analytics
Firebase Crashlytics: error log collection and stability improvement
Firebase Remote Config: app update policies and operational configuration
Google Sign-In: Google login
Google Maps: map display and location-based features
Google Geocoding API and device geocoding features: address and coordinate conversion
Google Play Billing: in-app purchases, purchase restoration, and entitlement checks
Google AdMob: advertising
Google Cloud Translation API: translation of posts, comments, Q&A, and similar content

9. International transfer

In the course of using infrastructure provided by Firebase, Google, Google Maps and Geocoding, AdMob, Google Play Billing, Google Cloud Translation API, and related services, personal information may be stored or processed on servers outside the user's country. The transferred items and retention period depend on each provider's policies and NOWN's service purposes.

10. User rights

Users may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, withdrawal of consent, or account deletion. Requests may be limited or certain information may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, service operation, report handling, purchases, or dispute response.

11. Children under 14

NOWN does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 without consent from a legal guardian. If such collection is identified, NOWN will take appropriate measures.

12. Security and deletion

NOWN applies reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect personal information. When the purpose of retention is achieved, the retention period expires, or a deletion request is accepted, information is deleted in a way that makes recovery difficult, or separately retained information is managed with restricted access.

13. Changes to this Policy

Changes to this Policy will be notified through the app, web pages, or other appropriate methods.

2. 個人情報の処理目的

NOWNは、以下の目的で個人情報を処理します。

NOWNチャレンジの運営、公正な抽選、当選案内および同意に基づく賞品送付

3. 周辺NOWNスマート通知と位置情報

周辺NOWNスマート通知は初期設定がOFFであり、ユーザーが自らオンにした場合のみ動作します。

この機能は、周辺の最新NOWN案内と、最新情報がない場所でのPOST提案のため、位置情報権限、Android端末ベースのgeofencing、ローカル通知を使用する場合があります。アプリを使用していない、または閉じている状態でも位置情報権限が必要になることがあります。

周辺NOWNスマート通知は、継続的な移動履歴をサーバーに保存するための機能ではありません。ユーザーはアプリまたは端末設定でいつでも機能と位置情報権限を解除でき、機能をオフにしたり権限を拒否しても通常のNOWN機能は利用できます。

周辺候補照会の過程では、現在位置周辺の投稿を確認するためにFirestoreドキュメントの読み取りが発生する場合があります。ユーザーが投稿を作成する際には、投稿位置座標と場所情報が保存される場合があります。

4. 写真、投稿およびコンテンツの保存

投稿は一定時間後、一般フィードや地図で非表示になる場合があります。有効期間が終了した投稿は、元画像が削除され、ユーザー記録の確認とサービス運営のために縮小サムネイルおよび必要なメタデータのみ保存されることがあります。

通報、ブロック、法令違反、運営ポリシー違反が確認された投稿は、非表示、削除または制限される場合があります。

5. 保存および利用期間

個人情報は、収集および利用目的の達成後、遅滞なく破棄します。ただし、法令上の保存義務、不正利用防止、通報処理、購入記録確認、紛争対応、サービス運営上必要な場合、必要な範囲で一定期間保存されることがあります。

チャレンジの賞品受取情報は、当選者が同意して提出した場合にのみ処理し、賞品送付および異議対応に必要な期間終了後、遅滞なく削除します。

会員退会またはアカウント削除要請後も、法令遵守、決済および返金対応、不正利用防止、通報および紛争対応に必要な一部記録は限定的に保存される場合があります。

6. アカウント削除とデータ削除または匿名化

ユーザーは、アプリのMYタブ設定メニューでアカウント削除を行うか、メールで要請できます。アプリ内のアカウント削除はFirebase Authアカウント削除とログアウトを実行します。

アカウント削除時、プロフィール、アカウント情報、通知トークン、投稿、コメント、返信、Q&A、通報およびサポート記録は、サービス安定性、通報処理、会話文脈の保存、法令遵守の範囲に応じて削除、非表示または匿名化される場合があります。Firebase Storageに保存された元画像とサムネイルは、投稿期限切れまたは運営処理の過程で削除される場合があります。

7. 第三者提供

NOWNはユーザーの個人情報を販売しません。ただし、法令に基づく要請がある場合、またはユーザーが同意した場合、関連機関または第三者に必要な範囲の情報が提供されることがあります。

サービス提供のため、以下の外部サービスを使用する場合があります。

9. 国外移転

Firebase、Google、Google MapsおよびGeocoding、AdMob、Google Play Billing、Google Cloud Translation APIなど海外事業者が提供するインフラを利用する過程で、個人情報が国外サーバーに保存または処理される場合があります。移転される項目と保存期間は、各サービス提供者のポリシーとNOWNのサービス提供目的に従います。

10. ユーザーの権利

ユーザーは、個人情報の閲覧、訂正、削除、処理停止、同意撤回、アカウント削除を要請できます。ただし、法令上の義務、サービス運営、通報処理、購入および紛争対応に必要な情報は、要請が制限されたり一定期間保存される場合があります。

11. 14歳未満の児童

NOWNは、法定代理人の同意なしに14歳未満の児童の個人情報を故意に収集しません。関連事実を確認した場合、必要な措置を行います。

12. セキュリティおよび破棄

NOWNは、個人情報保護のため合理的な技術的・管理的保護措置を適用します。保存目的の達成、保存期間満了、またはユーザーの削除要請など破棄事由が発生した場合、復元が困難な方法で削除し、別途保存が必要な情報はアクセスが制限された形で管理します。

13. プライバシーポリシー変更

本ポリシーが変更される場合、アプリ内通知、ウェブページまたは適切な方法で案内します。
